zr240 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 HI Guys Cooldrive have recently brought out a range of thermo fans (like the davis craig ones) But at a much better price. Quality looks really good and I am planning to have a few in stock. So as a special offer I am giving auszcar members a special into price. They come in 10" (255mm), 12" (305mm), 14" (350mm) and 16" (385mm) They recommend 2 x 12 for the 240/260z Prices as follows: 10" $82.50 12" $82.50 or $160 for 2 14" $97.50 16" $135.50 They come with a 1 yr warranty and come with a universal mount and installation kit. luvemfast Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 So how much room is there between radiator and engine on a stock 240Z, 260Z and 280ZX? Not that it helps me... Quote
matty260z Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 CoolDrive are Vintage Air distributors aren't they? Can either of you guys get Vintage Air stuff? Yeah CoolDrive are the Vintage Air distributors. I can give you a hand in sorting what you need but it all depends on what sort of setup your after (small underdash unit), but for pricing etc you'll have to go through Ash as CoolDrive doesn't supply to the public. neRok Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 So how much room is there between radiator and engine on a stock 240Z, 260Z and 280ZX?the core on my 260z is 600wide and 400 hide and there would be max 80mm room before hitting water pump. there is a fair bit of room in front of rad too. how much would you charge for postage for 1 or 2 fans to perth? peter t Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Hi Ash. can these be mounted in front of radiator on a 75 260 2+2 or do they have to go between radiator and motor? Quote
Scoota G Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Hi Ash. can these be mounted in front of radiator on a 75 260 2+2 or do they have to go between radiator and motor? Only thing is you have to reverse polarity to the motor to get the fan to push instead of pull. Should be heaps of clearance for the fan. Quote
zr240 Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Yep they are reversable so can go on both sides " push or pull" Ash Quote
T.A.P Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 did you get a price on postage? May be we can save on postage? Ash do you think 2 12inch fans enough for air-con system? Quote
zr240 Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 Sorry guys been waiting to get some weights and dimentions of the packaging to give you a quote as I am out of stock. Should have it by the end of the week so will get back ASAP. Thanks Ash Quote
