holly fark........r u serious..........hahhaha

man did they assume this fully sick built car would never break down.......

i guess so hey........hehehhe.

yeah they dont have one, lol

i find putting up the bonnet works well enough in daylight as it sticks up so high.

the best was one time i was driving a late 80's car so it actully had hazzards, but the battery was dead flat (was driving it hoping the alternator would charge it...but it died while idiling) and all these people kept driving past yelling angrily for my to turn on my hazzards!

was like an option, i sold the switch via mail to a fellow on another forum.

the wiring on the loom is all there but is bridged so your indicators work, have a look its the cluster of green wires with a 6pin plug i think.

some option hey.

heres your pic with spots for it, also i noticed you dont have the choke light there also??

yeh with choke i just look at the temp and revs and back it off as i go? hehehhehe.........

FARK ME no hazzards........how the hell am I going to let ppl know that I've just beaten a guy I'm racing against?.....hehehhehe jk!!.

just find the switch and pop it in.

easy to do, but if you really dont care, get a switch that bridges the lh and rh indicator wires closed will flash both indicators with you ind stick left or right but when switch is open only your desired side flashes!!!!

Anyone have the piece of loom for a 240z hazard set up and switch? I'd love to put one in my Z it's a somewhat luxury for a Z driver lol.

And on the topic of interesting facts I believe the US models came equipped with them.

The 280 has them, i spose they're sposed to be the luxury version of the S30! Mine are a bit funny though, you flick on the switch and they will start very slow and then build up to a normal speed. I think my bulbs or something might be on the way out... sometimes i get the fast-indicator-blinking syndrome.

Love those gauges George. Are they Autometer?

Do you know how difficult they are to set up?

I believe that the black bit is for fog lights.

The spot for the hazards is clearly seen on the centre fuse box lid.

There is space for 3 switches (from memory).

Hazard, Rear Window Demister & Parking Light (JDM) which allowed either side to be used as marker lights.

ya they're the pro comp range. the oil and temp are liquid filled but that's a bit of an overkill unless your car really rattles and shakes. i made the mistake of getting the high range oil one so i'm looking to swap it for the low range.

as for setting up, not hard at all if you know your way around a Z. remove the dash, feed the lines and hook them up. they sit in the dash like they were made for each other. you can use very weak glue so that your mates don't poke them through by accident (never happened to me though). they do fit really well. i've not used any glue for any gauge.

you will have to run an isolator outside the cabin if you run any mechanical pressure gauges so a bit of an extra cost there.
