you have GOT to be kidding?

Drewpee,

don't mind Salty.  He gets under a few people's skin.

I can imagine how frustrating this has been, but it really does sound like a communication breakdown and a few left handers thrown in to add to the confusion.

I must confess that I have lost track now at what stage you are at with Rego.  Are you still inside the 3 months to just pay the Rego?  If so I can't see why you blokes can't fix this up this week.  Kobes knows and has admitted that he mucked up.  I'm sure it can be fixed.

If you can't rego it without going over the pits, it's decision time.  Take some time (and money) and fix it up to RW condition and get it registered and safe for your little girl or, as Peter Mc has suggested, part it out, make a little coin and get a less involved project for her.

At the end of the day, a few mistakes have occurred and nobody is really hurt.  I don't know Kobes well, but I have heard other speak nicely of him.  He can't be too bad a bloke - he likes Zeds AND he's from WA (now if he was a crow eater ......).  I reckon you both should call each other or PM to sort this out fast.

Just about to hit post and saw that the great smoother Rev has typed in.  Rev, next time you're talking with God, can you tell him we miss you.

Ok guys I will make this my last post on the subject.

It is Kobes that did not have the papers at the time of sale, as required by law. I did contact him several times via email ,phone conversation in person and text to solve the problem and then he stopped communicating.  I don't know Kobes but I have dealt with people  many times in my life that react like this when they have made a mistake.  They tend to hide their heads in the sand and hope the problem goes away. I'm not mad with Kobes, but am frustrated with his handling of it.  The comments from some that its in any way my fault are just wrong. Its sometime hard not to take sides with the person when you know them. Even when they are the ones at fault. That's just human nature. Sometime it's hard to stand up to friends or family and say hey, that's not right.

Kobes has chosen to admit it was him who sold the car and admitted so good on him for that(he could have continued to keep quiet). But he didn't tell you about the other times (more than once)he was supposed to drop it of .  I also think he meant to do the right thing but some times life can be distracting.

The fact remains he has all my details.  It was his choice not to respond to my attempt to contact him.

PS People say I'm soft hearted and a good bloke to. Just ask them ;)

Well it won't get sorted throwing punches.  You have two options, get in contact with each other and sort it like adults (whether that be via a legal mediator or direct contact), or keep sulking and whinging to the world and nothing will get done.  Either way, leave it off this forum!!  Grow up children.

Remember that episode of The Simpsons where homer had a swear jar and tried to bulid a dog house? By the time he was done he failed to do it but there was enough money in the swear jar.

This story should be in a movie titled "12 short films about eBay"

Seriously i have only ever had one bad transaction on ebay but $500 i think i'd rather suck a western suburbs cab full of ***** than go through this.

Whoops that's a bit rude, i'll modify that!

Instead of putting in all this effort to find out who is at fault, put it to good use and get it sorted!

yes mate, I did have all your details however i got rid of them when i thought the transaction was finished.

Hopefully my good faith in contacting you the first time i saw your post ( thus being able to establish this show something ), well at least i was trying to the dirty by you or be in hiding!

Yes, I should have had the papers that morning, But Until feb22nd I was still managing a Supercheap store, working 50 plus hours, open to close 5 days a week. I told you i would have them at work, and except for that day we exhanged cars i do not believe i have seen you since. and supercheap has to be almost on a direct route from geraldton to your house! and you did not call around to pick them up!

I was at fault for not having them there for you that morning, and i apologize.

I have communicated by email, and will as soon as i get back into town get a person to drop the parts off to your house so have the enine bracket and spare tyre.
