Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone in brisbane had a sandblaster and wouldn't mind doing a quick job for me.

Just finished my engine mounts and would like them sandblasted before painting them.

Cheers

No sand blaster but soaking stuff in a caustic soda water mix works for me, use eye protection etc of course.

Sorry to tag on here but I bought an underdriven balancer for my LS1 for really cheap because it experienced first hand how bad the Brisbane floods were. Anyway I've sand blasted all the surface rust off it and it looks clean but what would you use on billet steel to bring it up shiney again??

Hey mate, not sure if it is up to the task but I have one of those crappy supercheap ones too. I've just been "soda blasting" with it although I think it came with some sand...

Use the soda for alloy and the sand for steel.
