Huw
Hmmmm.....just got my car back from the panel repairs.....looks beaut. BUT, in the rain that we have had out this way a pool of water has developed behind the drivers seet and the side scuttle carpet is sopping wet.......this was never a problem before. The firewall is dry (or seems to be). The door did come off as part of the repaint necessary in the smash repair (front guard damage - blending colours - no structural damage or damage to door. All the weatherstripping around the door seems ok.... any ideas where the leak could be coming from? My guess is the door but I cannot track it down at the moment. Suggestions? fufu
Have you tried spraying the door with a garden hose?
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 24, 2011 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2011 As Fu said, get someone to spray the house on the car while you are inside with the carpet removed and you may be able to find where it comes from..
zeds4ever
Hey Dimitri , I think he's trying to find the leak in the car ,not the house. HeHe. Regards: Alan.
