handsandwhich Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I have a set of performance superlites, 15x7 114.3x4 with tyres. Tread on fronts is 95%, Rears have approx 70%. No gutter rash on any of them. Fronts 205mm, rears 225mm. Two of them have a slight bit of the clear coating worn off on the lip (looks worse in the pic than in person). Looking for $550.00 as is, or I can polish the lip on all four wheels for $650.00. Spare wheel well, looks in very good nick, no rust showing and has the wheel holder/bolt in place as you can see. $90.00 for this. Parts are available for pickup in Thomastown, Vic or you can arrange your own courier/transport and I will help (help, not pay!) within reason to get the item/s to you. Quote

As I said in my original post, I am no gearbox specialist. The box came with the car when I bought it and was told it was a spare that was in the process of being rebuilt to suit the 260z so the one that was in the car (with notchy second gear and jumping out of gear in 5th) could be swapped over. If you tell me which one is first gear, I can count the teeth for you. Hope that helps. Quote

To be honest, I wasn't overly concerned with the validity of the claim when I bought the car as I new that I was going to removing the engine anyway. I can tell you that the car had impressive acceleration and an awesome exhaust note to boot and definitely more power than some other zeds that I have been in. I wonder if the workshop would keep some sort of record on the work undertaken? Quote

I've had a few offers but I might just hold on to it and use it in another project. Not going to let it go for just what the carbie setup would be worth.
