luvemfast Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 You could try Dazzed on this forum. He is a mechanic with his own shop and has lots of Z experience. Daniel @ DJM 9808 2590 It's in Burwood Or try Zshop or Z factory maybe? Quote
Sirpent Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Hi Buddy, We need to catch up next week sometime for a chat at your shop. On the carbie side of things, you will get a reply "Isn't that right guys?" Peter, David, Dimitri, Lurch, NZ Mike ? In the meanwhile, there are a bunch of members who have been discussing a group buy of CF intake plenums and suggested they contact you. Look at the thread entitled "Group buy cold air box" Cheers John Quote

MaygZ Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Are you running with a heat shield between exhaust and your carbies? You may be boiling fuel in the lines or even the bowls? MaygZ Edit: Now that I have read the below post - stuck choke throttles is the more likely. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 8, 2011 Moderators Posted April 8, 2011 I'm not too far away; I can have a quick peek... Have you checked if the chokes are not stuck on? A cold engine always needs more fuel and as it warms up needs less. I can check your needles and seats for wear or one or both could be worn letting in too much fuel. Only guessing but let me know if you want me to come and do a quick check. Quote
