Hi All,

Just wonder if you have picked up anything from the above mentioned outlets and what was your experince?

I've been to AllZparts and it looks like a big wrecker but indoors? Was my first time there so didn't know what was candy and what wasn't

As for Victoria British (fark does that sound like Victoria Secret womens underwear or what ahahhaha) I've got a catalogue and it's got everything under the sun.

Hi

I have used AllZparts a few times and found them very helpful and their delivery to Melb has been very good and delivery fee was reasonable. Would recommend them.

I have a Victoria British catalog which is good to see what you need but have never used them. A while back before they became Black Dragon there was some chat on Classic Z Club forums that their service was not that good.

have had 2 experiences with black dragon auto, 1st was reasonably quick...

2nd never arrived despite calling and hassling every week for over a month (was a rubber trim for the rear hatch of a 300 (early one, yeeuukk)).

I would not use them again after this and have stuck with motorsport when getting z parts from the states. very good range and quality for 240z stuff.

I tried to purchase some headlight covers from MSA, and they quoted me almost $200USD for shipping. I offered to put the goods on my own frieght and they said OK $150USD "Handling charge" so i told them to shovel it...

if you patient' date=' with US companies ask them to ship not air-freight, may make it cheaper (if they'll do it)[/quote']

Yes thats very true with MSA, they quoted me about $1200USD to ship over a full pallet (4-5 foot hight) with a bodykit and a heap of chrome stuff for the engine bay, only about 4-5 weeks shipping too instead of this 3 month stuff I hear about on sea shipping.

I also think there are some good parts still in Japan - and shipping from Japan is alot less that from the USA. I picked up my Turbo Manifold adapter and turbo dirt cheap, and another 3L Soarer single turbo unit for free with a deal my old man got. I see alot of L series mods because they have the original Skyline's over there which are collectors edition and the Japs seem to know what they are doing when it comes to modifications.

...And use google language tools to translate what you want to search for.

I had a small order from black dragon, mostly rubber bits and pieces, nothing too large. They packed in a very large box for what it was (don't know if price goes on size or more the weight) and they charged $80US shipping. Quality was pretty good but recommend share freight. I tried to get some other guys in on my order but lost patience waiting.

I would stick with the US for most parts, being a huge automotive market they are spoiled for choice. In Japan you can often find some good peices but the proces are rediculous. You could make a living shipping all the junk 2+2's from Australia here and selling the 2 seater common parts.

There are a lot of brand new OEM parts here though which, if you are willing to pay for them, is a good thing.
