ol_skl_jp Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hi, Anyone have any lash pads lying around? Just need one, I have attached a picture to show you what happened to mine. The mechanic said it was due to valve bounce. The car has a mild cam in it and i know that effects the overall thickness of the pad. The thickness i need is 5.10mm from the bottom face to the cut away face. It might be even a stock lash pad, as I was told some people didnt bother changing the lash pads after fitting a new cam. I am in need of one urgently so if you have one please let me know. Thanks Sach http://www.flickr.com/photos/smeegama/5487714754/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/smeegama/5487130753/ Quote

1600dave Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I recently bought a set of thicker lash pads from Stewart Wilkins. He had them in stock, overnight delivery and they were in my hands in less than 24 hours. http://swmotorsport.com.au/ Quote
Scoota G Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Dimitri, I have no idea what the thickness of the standard one is. If you get a chance could you possibly have a look for me? Measuring one by eye looks about 4.4mm from the distance you measured. Quote
ol_skl_jp Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks guys, looks like I'll have to call SWmotorsports. Will have to do with a 5mm pad as they only do increments of 0.25mm. Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 1, 2011 Moderators Posted March 1, 2011 Just measured mine, all up is 4.3mm, but they have an indentation where it sits on the valve of approx 1.23mm. If you need 5mm, you may have to get one made. Quote
