The Mikuni manifolds have an extremely small port to the head..... Why is this? There is plenty of meat to match port, so that will be job #1.

Maybe I should put this into my build thread that has seemed to have died......

Where did you find all these Mikuni's? Ebay US?

Actually found on Z forums in the US, HybridZ and Zcar. Both, for ages. Everyone was asking him to split, but he wanted to sell it all together. He did a great job of packing them up, took him hours and I beleive him.

Spent a few hours last night cleaning up the older ones. They are in really good condition inside, which is fanastic. Stripped them down and cleaned them in the ultrasonic. They are now looking heaps better and I know that they're ok. Effectively rebuilt.  ;D

But a few of the plastic snap on ball connectors are broken.

Where's the best plase to get new ones?

EFI Hardware have a pretty good range of linkages, they're out ringwood way.

If you need rod ends for the carb linkages (I used M6 ones that look like miniature tie rod ends) I bough them from "Linear Bearings" in Rowville; forum member Trevor works there and can help you out. Made in Japan with no slop.
