Hi,

I am considering parting with my Z as I am being moved with work again and I am concerned I will not have suitable facilities to keep the old girl in, there are also long term health issues that make it difficult for me to sit in the car for too long. I have not discussed this with my sons yet as both are keen to get their hands on the car one day, so things may change however I will consider offers over $15000 because that's what I consider it is worth to me.  If I can't get this amount I will probably buy another car, deregister the Z and keep it in the Garage in Townsville.

Mate fantastic Z and I love the color combination especially the red interior. 15K is very reasonable in my opinion and I think you should have no problem selling it.

Oh Peter, the memories come flooding back!  :'(

This is the "one that got away" for me, the one that I refer to in my very first post on this forum.

Even before Peter sent a mate to look at this Zed down in Canberra, I phoned the owner and offered him his asking price sight unseen as he seemed honest and straight-up with the description of the car.

Problem was, he was too honest and straight up and told me that he had promised Peter first dibs, and would call me if Peter didn't buy it.....

Well the call never came and the rest is history and I bought another silver Zed.

Hope you can keep it for your sons.

If I didn't value my marriage I would buy this Zed in a heartbeat!

After much thought and guidance from family and friends - all of whom want me to keep the car, I have decided I definitely won't be selling it at this stage. Depending on recovery progress from my hip/leg injury I will either drive the car from Townsville to my new job in Albury/Wodonga in early/mid Jan  or It will be deregistered and put in the garage in Townsville.

I apologise to those people who indicated genuine interest in purchasing the car, I am genuinely sorry  for stuffing you around and getting your hopes up and I wish you luck finding a suitable car.

Thanks

Regards

Peter
