Scoota G Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Well a while ago i made two plates for a strut brace and when dale and i were fishing in the Big W bin i found another piece i thought was the right looking piece. So i Fabbed up four brackets. Then using the most modern devices for measuring and alingment i modified the four brackets and welded it together. Quote
Scoota G Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 And there we have it... Took me a couple of hours but this will double as a mount for another piece of equipment to be installed soon. Quote

MaygZ Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Now if I didn't know you any better I'd say a video camera?? To video all those snappy gear changes? Quote
Scoota G Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 To video all those snappy gear changes? Hmmm Touch'e. That the right attitude simon, you're fitting in so well here. Quote
Six_Shooter Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I used a rear strut tower brace in an Acura Integra to mount an amp and electronics racks from. The rack kept the strut tower straight between the two points it attached at, when the car was backed into a pole at about 120 kms/hr. Quote
sexual_sushi Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I like the design scoot! Now get some paint on it Quote
Scoota G Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 I'm really thinking about trying to make it quick release by using the offset bolt system that some suspension units use, so i can lock it down and push it out a little and then remove it if i need to transport anything. Then some black powder coat. Quote
FuzzyDropbear Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Hmmm, well, you have been busy haven't you? ha, that wasn't on there this morning was it? I wouldn't have missed something so shiny Quote
Scoota G Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 What else would you do on Bathurst Weekend but install your strut brace. Anodised Blue finish with Gold Zinc Plated bolts. "Fully Sick" Quote
reverendzed Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 It's like there's a little cushion for your head when you doing mini 'pull ups' on your new 'fully sick' work out bar bro! Either that or that's the next installation as scoots new version of a 'fully sick' airbag bro! Rev. Quote

lightmaster240z Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Add more weight so you are slower intersting tactic for our race Bruce Quote
Scoota G Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 Add more weight so you are slower intersting tactic for our race Bruce Nah actually that setup was for KT's holden, came up real well with a Solid Bass and even my old Kenwood got a refurbish with a polish. Sort of looks like the silver iron man with the triangle light in the middle of the amp. KT sure does like her Bling and Doof Doof. Kenwood Amps and a Sony sub is a great combination. Quote
