tir33d Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Hey Lurch, Couple of questions, I am guessing you had a 225 tyre on those rims in the photo? Do you still have them? Do you think they are a good fitment? From the photo it looks as though they are running right on the guard line. Is that the same on the front? I desperately need more rubber down and am willing to mount these with flares if necessary. Where in Vic are you? Tell me what you want for your project and maybe I can get some rubber for you as part payment. I am planning on using these for my 280 with coilovers but I would still like to be able to get some camber in there, will I need a spacer to get the camber? Thanks Phil Quote
C.A.R. Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 Hi Phil, Hey Lurch, Couple of questions, I am guessing you had a 225 tyre on those rims in the photo? Yes they are. about 50 profile IIRC. Do you still have them? Yes I do. Do you think they are a good fitment? On the S30 chassis - yes I do, but the inner lip would need to be rolled/lipped if you wanted to go REALLY low. From the photo it looks as though they are running right on the guard line. Is that the same on the front? The photo is deceptive - it's close but not on it. The front fitment is MUCH better but a 5mm spacer may be required if your running std spring perches. I desperately need more rubber down and am willing to mount these with flares if necessary. You wont need flares on a S30 chassis Zed. Where in Vic are you? I'm down near Warragul, Vic. Tell me what you want for your project and maybe I can get some rubber for you as part payment. Thanks but I don't need rubber currently - cash preferred. I am planning on using these for my 280 with coilovers but I would still like to be able to get some camber in there, will I need a spacer to get the camber? Thanks Phil 280ZX? If that's the case I'm not sure how they will fit :-\ Your most welcome to bring the car down & test fit the wheels though, then make me a offer Cheers, Lurch. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted September 5, 2010 Administrators Posted September 5, 2010 Bah, gotta be quick around here. Didn't know you were selling these till now. Would have liked a set for my 240z over the current Superlites. Not to mind, not in a hurry. However if the sale falls through let me know. Quote
C.A.R. Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 I posted them up on the 13 of June Gav! They have been FS for a while... Phil has picked them up & paid from them, so they are definitely sold Quote
