C.A.R. Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Nice photos Simon I still dont know how Jason's Sports 2000 is allowed to run as a Grp Sa car with flares... Quote
dat2kman Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Ooohhh Puleeease It is a "Sports 2000", not that effiminate girly "Fairlady" moniker !!! Lurch, it is a true CAMS Historic classed Group T car, ie a "Prod Sports with a race history" and it is in it's original as raced spec. from 1969, as opposed to a standard "Prod Sports" that has to comply with Group S regulations. On the entry lists the events for the Sa/Sb cars also had, at the bottom of the pages, Group T, that was lil' fat ol' me !!!! May 1/2, last weekend, ran it at Eastern Creek, same thing, as a T car with the Sa/Sb/Sc guys. Next meet will be Historic Warwick July 24/25 couple more pics from PI 2010 Quote
C.A.R. Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 AAAAAAHA! I didn't know they had combined the classes! Maybe I should get the old mans old "Grp D" spec A-H Sprite out & run that in the new "Grp T" class as well...! Quote
