reverendzed Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 They might but the arm rests were different....I'm sure someone should know more than me about it. Quote
Hunter Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 I was thinking as my 240 is not standard I might as well go the 260z door interior panels if they will fit. They are cheaper and I quite like the 260z door handle, I may have to drill but I will make it fit. Quote
sexual_sushi Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Eddii, from memory, bought his z as a 240z but he thinks it is a 2 seater 260z that someone has tried to do up to look like a 240z. Anyway he bought those 240z door trims from Nissan as well and he said the door locks come up in a different spot. Not a huge deal but you would have to relocate the hole or lock... Quote
NZeder Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Depends on the model of 260z door trim. There are two types early and late. The late type have the lock pulls further forward. I have seen a 240z with the early 260z panels installed before so doable for sure. Quote
Hunter Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 So from the discussion it would be nearly safe to say that the 2 seater 260Z door panels fit the 240Z size wise and 260Z models after 74 will fit but would need a new hole drilled for the door lock? I guess that would mean American 280Z panels should fit as well? Quote
Add Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Not sure about the doors, but I have a 74 260Z and im using the 240Z pannels in the hatch area. This is important on the fuel side as I don't require the bulge for the fuel overflow. Cheers, Ad Quote
zed240au Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 when i was doing my car resto i bought some 260z 2 seater door trims same outside dimensions and shape but when i went to fit them the clip holes that clip trim to door didnt line up ended up recovering my 240 panels mick Quote
