SOLD to the Healey Factory - ORIGINAL RED 1972 240Z (MINT)

Guys, I have decided to put my car up for sale to invest the money for a house after 3+ years ownership. Lurch has seen my car and is one of the cleanest cars in original condition around (according to him)....regretful sale of course  :'(

It was restored in 1997 and garaged as a weekend car ever since. No accidents, straight body, no rust, and matching numbers etc. The only thing that is not original on the car is the front spoiler, wheels and stereo which I put on and a 2.5inch exhaust (original restorer) which could always be changed to a nice 2 inch to make it a little more quiet.

Daniel Moore from DJM Automotive has maintained the car and knows it better than I. It runs extremely smooth and idles well with nothing more to do to the car.

I have seen many cars on this sight and many people spending a lot of time and money on their cars....way more than what this car is selling for. I was fortunate to purchase this car already restored and I invite the smart investor to do the same.

I am advertising the car for $****** to see what the interest is like. If anyone is serious about purchasing or needs more details, please call me on 0418 201 998. I live in Melbourne.

I will also advertise in the next issue of Unique Cars Magazine.

Thanks. Stewart.

Good luck with the sale Stewart.

BTW - what does the switch below the cigarette lighter operate. My 72 has nothing there!

Sad to see Stew, but at least your selling for a good reason.

GL with the same mate. This is one of the best Original 240Z's I've seen - period.

Bump for a Gem of a Z. Good luck with sale, but seriously you should exhaust all options first ;).

Hey Guys,

The car is still up for sale and on carsales.com.au. A couple of interested parties who have recently gone overseas and will negotiate/view vehicle on return.

Please spread the word if anyone is interested in a car that needs not work, fully restored and has not been butched. $30K is negotiable and am happy to keep if i can't sell.

Hope to bring it out the next time there is a weekend drive.

Cheers,

Stew.

Stew - take it over to see Russel Cox at 'The Healey Factory'. He's VERY interested in putting it in the showroom...!

Thanks Lurch...it is my plan, but wanted to give it a good crack to sell it privately. It will go to the Healy factory or Shannons. It is not the best time of year to sell the car.

The disappointing thing is that no one has inspected the car since I put it up for sale...I think if I leave it at the Healy Factory or Shannons it will sell.

Thanks mate.
