C.A.R. Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 2.8lt clutch fan Not needed, get a Thermo fan. 260 centre console with no massive holes cut in it. PM Rev. Dave he gets new ones in for around $220. Knobs for Dimmer and switch next to it. AllZparts or try US eBay. Drivers side sun visor AllZparts again. That is all for now, but there will be more, I am sure. Perhaps you should comple a BIG list & post it all at once, rather than bits at a time? Quote
Stivva Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 I would compile a big list, but I really don't know if there will be more. I was guessing there would be as you can never really finish a car Thermo over the clutch fan? I mean, ofcourse. But the car has a thermo now, I was really just going the less is more approach. I had a thermo on my Rb25 and found no real advantage. Quote
stevo_gj Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 No advantage? Are you trying to keep it super stock or are you just going with the easy option? Thermo fans have a bunch of advantages for cooling and they increase available hp, what more could you want? Quote
RB30X Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Not to mention the improved engine sound that you can acutally hear once you delete the clutch fan. Quote
Stivva Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Lol, guys, guys. Neither of those. As stated, the car currently has a thermo fan installed. So it's not really about an easy option. Nor after my Car does anything seem hard in that respect. But you are the experts and I am but a lonely noob so I will keep my thermo and chase the other parts on my list Quote
garvice Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I have a 2.8ltr fan if you still want to buy one, but postage to melbourne would be a killer. They do move a lot of air with the shroud one. Quote
peter t Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Postage only $20 reg mail for under 20kg. Sent a set of extracters to Melbourne for $20 reg mail. Quote
garvice Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I sent a box to WA that was a cubic weight of 7kg and it was 26. This would be a cubic weight of well over 10 - 15kg (as big as a radiator with the shroud). Quote
scoot3r42 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 have a sun visor mate if your keen $30 plus postage Quote
