There have been replica lambo kits for years with no worries about copywrite. I've even seen a couple of articles about Lamborgini challenging a couple of the replica builders to a track day and killing them. Well not literally but you get the idea. Lamborgini are, or at least were before being bought by VW, pretty good about copies. They take it as a compliment and they are pretty understanding that most people can't afford the real thing. I've seriously thought about joining the super car club where you pay for an annual membership and then you get a certain amount of points to use each year to drive the cars they own. Its about 7k per year I think.

Holy craftsmanship batman. I can't ever imagine having that sort of patience and skill.  That is so cool that there are people that keep up that sort of knowledge and skill.

I'm just utterly impressed by the level of craftsmanship. I mean look what he made.. in his basement! thats a piece of art.
