24OZ Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 If you can't fine one just google for some plans and build one. Can't be all that hard. good start is 2 cheap china engine stands one at each end gives you a pivoting centre axle then bolt the engine plate mounts to an rhs bar ,one that bolts to each of the bumper bar mounts front and rear voila Quote
FLEXZED Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 looks like that is the way i will going, just thought if anyone had one they no longer need and was in there way i could buy it of them Loui Quote
aegean Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 This is about the cheapest one you can buy new http://cgi.ebay.com.au/DIRECTLIFT-ROTISSERIE-car-hoist-car-rotisserie_W0QQitemZ220480505162QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3355a9854a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 A mechanic friend of mine bought one as he costed out all the parts and said he couldn't build one for the price. zzzzed Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 i made my own for about $250 in metal Its no where as flash as the one in the above post though Quote
1600dave Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Likewise - mine was around the same price to build (using 2nd grade steel, and a few bits I had lying round). Holds my 180B coupe shell + motor + gearbox + front x-member without a problem. http://datnet.org/Technical-f35/Tech-Articles-f9/TECH-ARTICLE-How-build-rotisserie-t21.html Quote
