Does anybody have a set of the black plastic seat adjustment knobs that sit on the outside of each of the seats? (the ones you twist to get the early 240Z seats to recline or incline)

Mine are a little suspect, and are missing the caps that hide the bolt.

I have added a photo of the parts I need, bottom left side of this photo.

Cheers

What year is your 240z? It's my understanding those were only fitted to the earlier 1970/71 cars.

I think you are right Gav, early ones to get access to the back section had to be wound forward where later seats had that lever to tilt forward.

I'm selling some well worn seats on ebay for a 240Z but are the late model versions without that knob. Someone has bidded though with -1 feedback...hmmm

You may have to check in the US for something like that. Ask on HybridZ; they may be able to send them over cheap.

hmm Dad's old S31 Fairlady Z (S model ie base model) had a pair of these seats and it was a 75/76 but compared to this pic the seats were installed with the knobs facing each other - however Dad's zed had been apart at one point before we purchased it as when the went to re-assemble they did a few thing incorrect (rust and paint work was done) ie the gas struts for the rear hatch were installed up side down = hatch only opened 1/2 way.

Anyway I have you asked Nissan? Sometimes you get lucky and they can still get it.
