reverendzed Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 Thanks lurch, as it ended up I found the bolts and was able to buy nuts from Repco, so it's done! rev. Quote
reverendzed Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Well I thought I better update this thread. Rev's Project 2 is almost complete and it didn't make it out of the garage before it was SOLD! I had a guy who bought a part from me that I had advertised and when he saw the Rev Project 2 (in it's Just painted stage) he wanted it! after convincing his wife that this was the way to go he placed his deposit on the car today. here's a few pics of where it is at now, completion date is now down to a couple of weeks! C.A.R. Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Looking awesome mate, & good news about the new owner. Make sure you steer him to this site! Jeeze it needs lowering though...! Quote
reverendzed Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Thought I'd post a couple of pics of 99% finished Zed that I have been working on since February. I bought this one minus motor and transmission. It has had a manual conversion attached to a refreshed L26 and some of the Rev's bodywork and TLC - This one sold before I could get it out of the garage! New Owner picks it up tomorrow. Also thanks to Lurchos and Mayhem for their support. Quote
C.A.R. Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Topic's merged - you already had a journal for this Zed, Dave! Looks awesome BTW Positive camber on the rear wheel doesnt look so good though :-\ Will you even get a chance to drive it mate? Quote
reverendzed Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Sorry Lurchos, wasn't sure if I was meant to put it in my old journal, anyway thanks for moving it. Probably get a drive when the guy does the last few thinks and gets it registered, he doesn't live far from me. My reward is seeing another 'this was going to be my project' being bought back to life! Camber is fine, it must be how it looks in the pic Quote
S30Mike Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Ahhh what a clean beauty! Rev, have you spaced those wheels with anything at all? I have the exact same rims and i want to put flares on too, this actually looks better then i thought it would with the sportmax offset! (if you havent spaced them). I have a ride height problem too haha, so with a little lowering i think it will look great! Quote
reverendzed Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Hey Mike, the wheels were just bolted on, no spacers! they sit O.K could do with a spacer if you wanted but I didn't bother. I didn't lower it because i figured that The Road worthy guys didn't need any excuses to pick on it, the guy who bought it will do the lowering later. Rev. Quote
