chinook Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Hey guys i'm a newbee to this here so do bare me please. My situation is simply that I live in Cairns FNQ and have a 73 80% restored 240Z sitting at 'z repair shop' somewhere in Melbourne ( im using discretion here ) and due to this businesses extremlely stretched work pile and lack of mechanics on the floor my project has now been sitting on the shop floor for 4 long years waiting for someone to take a passing peak in anger at the remaining bits which need to be done which include fitting of the dash board and all the wiring, hooking up the lights bells and whistles, window regulators and all windows, basically i just want to get her up to 'turn key' state which shouldnt take much for someone who know's what they're doing. I can come down and do all the interior etc... I dont want the car to be removed from where it sits to another place where again it will sit for another many months or years i really want some affirmitve action and as I'm square with all work thats been carried out to date you can be assured that i will have the money to pay to get the job done finally. Please if anyone can suggest a name or place of repute i can get this work done ASAP. It would be greatly appreciated . I can Also be contacted on 0421 560 060 Chinook Cairns FNQ Quote

Scoota G Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 This sounds like one of those situations where one could pull together a group of skilled Z club members, finish this guys car off for him, document and film the whole process and then ask for a donation to AusZcaR as payment. Like a weekend warrior thing. Quote
stram_man Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Another person is Daniel Moore at DJM Automotive. He is a passionate 240z enthusiast as well as a very good mechanic. He is also reasonable in his pricing. Quote
