modular9 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 and a reason why we all want one ? ... hotter than a dog on a thundery night http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-spy-shots/1087464/ And yes i'd have one... no I wont sell my left nut for it though. My left nut is being reserved for a alfa romeo 8c.. Quote
S30Mike Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 its like.. the same as the 350. Im failing to see anything special here, though its not bad. Just nothing special. ill stick with the S30 haha Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I like the side profile a whole lot more than the 350Z. Looks like they tried to add a S30 is curve to the cars door door-line/window line. The roof profile is more of a continuous curve to the rear of the car, unlike the 350's steep curve then flatish tail-end bump. Quote
modular9 Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 Its the bum that always does it for me. The way they have it tucked under and the front end is nice. Sorry not as much as a s30 fan as to pass up the 370 ! Not that i can afford one. I mean if it is going in at the price point a new 350 is going in on, I'd stump for a second hand 911. Quote
C.A.R. Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I'd stump for a second hand 911. Blasphemy! I like it more then the 350. I'd like to wait a couple of years to snap one up 2nd hand & see if APS will do a TT kit for it... Quote
RBZ 260 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 nice probably bit closer to the 240z than the 350z was. i didnt like the side look of the 350. this is nicer but paying 80k for one hmmmmmmm nope. than again i would never sign on a dotted line for any brand new car. its a guarantee u loosing 20% of ur hard earned cash as soon as u sign it. so let some other poor sucker do that and buy it of him for 20-30% after 1 yr with 20,000km when they get sick of it. what the price for 350z these days ive seen as low as 30K for a 05 model hmm 50k loss in 3 years nice. mikedoeslife Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 A few different colours here: http://www.themotorreport.com.au/12014/nissan-370z-spotted-in-red-white-black/ And hey, you guys aren't TMR readers? Support local produce yo! And support me For what it's worth, we had all of the above stuff before Autoblog. I for one think this is the best looking Z since the S30. Only ever liked the S130, Z31, and Z32 in 2-seat form (down with 2+2!), and the front of the Z33 bored the piss out of me. I liked the back of it, but the rear quarter windows were too much like the Z32 and the arse just looked MASSIVE. The Z34, while not technically a huge difference, feels like a massive improvement to me. Quote
modular9 Posted November 10, 2008 Author Posted November 10, 2008 I think the rear spoiler actually detracts from the lines of the car. I am sure that it works in a "lets-go-to-the-ring-and -beat-them-porsche-fellas ". But it does detract from the lines of the car. I personally cant wait to see what someone like ab-flug will do bodykit wise. Quote
mikedoeslife Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Tech specs revealed. http://www.themotorreport.com.au/12094/2009-nissan-370z-tech-specs-revealed/ Quote
Cdr Zero Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 The six-speed manual receives an intriguing piece of kit: an automatic throttle-blipping function to smooth out downshifts. Couldn’t heel-toe even if your life depended on it? No worries, the car will do it for you! I don't like this turn of events. I hope you can turn it off! Quote
modular9 Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 Now I am sure that Van will say that he's had these pics BEFORE they were even taken, on his site but... More pics on the street. http://www.worldcarfans.com/9081114.022/nissan-370z-photographed-on-the-street-in-los-angeles And this is the pic that tips me over the edge Quote
