Cdr Zero Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 My 240 which is also from Melbourne has no fender indicators. Quote
fufu Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 same here, i have a 1971 240z which had fender mirrors and no indicators on the fenders. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted September 6, 2008 Moderators Posted September 6, 2008 I think the only time 240's have fender indicators is when 260 fenders have been bolted on! Otherwise your 240 is how it came from Japan.. Quote
Hunter Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 No problems thanks, I have just been looking through some pics and some have them and some don't. Cheers Quote
RBZ 260 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 from series1 early 70s to early 72 240z in oz didnt have fender indicators. from 72 onwards they started appearing due to ADR rules. not saying that some later model didnt have them as well as they have been probably replaced by the earlier ones. i got a early 72 which has fiberglass headlight cones (which was stock only on the early 70's one and a series 1 tailgate with vents (which were bogged over.)also no fender indicators. the 1970 240 i got has the fender mirror holes with plastic seal caps no fender indicators, fiberglass headlight cones and the usual ser1 stuff. no toolbox pockets, vented rear hatch etc...... from 74 onwards i think they were lot more common with fender indicators. pitty they are unsightly. could be worse if we had the yank way we would have a red one at the rear 1/4 panel .spoils the nice flowing lines of the Z.
