Dirtydatto Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) Hi all! I'm after a decent condition 240z horn pad as per this one pictured below. I currently have one however the inner ring that locks onto the horn plate is completely stuffed (highlighted). If you have one or know how to fix/replace this ring then let me know! thanks! Administrators gav240z Posted April 14, 2020 Administrators Posted April 14, 2020 I've never found a 240z wheel with an uncracked horn ring. Just be patient. Steve is a 1 man shop as far as I'm aware. You can also buy a NOS horn pad on eBay. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 14, 2020 Administrators Posted April 14, 2020 https://www.ebay.com/itm/283712001503 Prices are ouch given current exchange rates. You could also try plastic weld the cracks in the ring? Or repair the cracks. Quote
Ponyo240z Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) I repaired a couple with arildite. Both stuck very well and doesn't fall off when driving Edited April 14, 2020 by Ponyo240z gav240z 1 Quote

Gtv240z Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 You could put 2 or 3 dobs of silicone on it If its stuffed nothing too lose and just put enough on to be able to pull it off later if need be Quote

It currently sit on where it should but feels like it's an aggressive horn push away from falling off :s Quote
