260z blues Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 So i have finally sorted a set of triple 44 mikunis for my 260z and am looking for a decent intake manifold with all linkages etc. Would prefer something period correct if possible but not sure how hard that may be. Open to suggestions and feedback on what others have used. Quote
Cozza Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Check out Pierce. https://www.piercemanifolds.com/product_p/99003.829.html 260z blues 1 Quote

260z blues Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 Andbir Ive seen that mani however have been put off by the blue anodized parts. They dont really shout mid 70s styling lol. As for the price i need to do a currency conversion as no idea on how much that is lol. Quote
Cozza Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Yep, I have a spare in the shed too. Happy to take pics for you if you like. The Pierce linkages are very good in my opinion with a 3/8” shaft unlike the 1/4” shafts supplied by many others. I also like the cranks they supply. Pm me your number and I’ll send you some pics if you like. Quote
TomC18 Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 2 things to be careful of - Pierce seems to say 40 or 45 mm - just make sure you get the right size, but it looks good - when you buy trumpets for the 44mm Solexes, they are actually 48mm at the opening, so don't buy 45mm ones, and they taper to 44mm at the throttle plate - that's one of the reasons they work better than Webers. Kameari do a 44mm manifold, and a 50mm one for the big boys Quote
