Yep.. we covered this 3 weeks ago on a different thread. (also showed French, German etc)

good to see it has the exact break-up for 1974, the other list didnt have a 1974 split.

Only thing thats missing is 1977 2+2 which should be 990 Aussie cars.  ;)

doesnt suprise me why japs build and design cars for yank market. just look at the sales figures. thats crazy. way more than almost all others put together.

interesting in oz that 3481 total of 240 and 260z 2 seater and 2416 for 2+2.and minus a lot of 2+2 that gave life to the 2 seaters hmm maybe one day the 2+2 would be rarest LOL...

also the rarest of them all in OZ is the 77 260 2 seater. so James (JP) you got one of the rarest s30 in OZ. LOL

Damn it! My first Z was a 77 260 2 seater chassis number 15036. It was sold twice and now an NDSOC member has it with a NA RB30 and 3.9 LSD that I should've removed! Damn it again!

I have a 77 260z 2 seater very close in chassis number to the one above + 20 ish and my is in NZ and like OZ I know of only few others of the same vintage. However I think the build date of my 77 is 76 - not sure as there aren't too many facts left these days after the employee dispute Nissan had in the 70's/80's lots of the real facts were lost by management so they would not have to back pay as much (well that is a story I was told once - how true that is I am not sure)

Also don't believe every thing on Carl's site - zhome. I have issues with his facts in the past ie when I owned HS30-00016 he told me it can't be true as they had HLS30-00016 in the US and Nissan only made one set of number - how wrong was he, this was back in the day when the internet was only just beginning. Then there was the time in another forum he tried to tell people that the L24 was an L16 first (as in the US the L16 was sold in the mid/late 60's) with 2 extra cylinders so the L4 was designed first must have been because that is how they were sold in the US....wrong again the L6 was in production long before the L4, however much you try and tell him he will not listen - never mind I take what is on his site with a pinch of salt.
