I'm just putting this here as a bookmark for myself, in future I may approach them about reproducing rare and special wheels to suit S30Z's.

 

They are a bit hard to find on the old Google, but here is a bunch of info I managed to scrape together. Maybe you have an old set of Simmons you want to put on your S30Z or modify them / repair them?

Hi Gav,

 

Sorry to derail things, but Richard the owner of Retro Wheels retired to the country about 2 years ago.

I am led to believe he sold all the stock etc to Tempe Tyres - see thread below.

Neales Wheels in Sydney can also provide repairs etc to Simmons rims but I have never dealt with them so can't comment as to the quality of their work.

Sad times, not a huge fan of the Tempe tyres look (basically early 20" FR style simmons on ALL THE THINGS!). Not sure if the quality is as good with Tempe mob behind it?

Have only dealt with Tempe Tyres once, and they certainly don't have the personal touch or attention to detail that Richard displayed in my dealings with him.
