Gtv240z Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Up for sale here a gear stick / shifter for the Silvia Sr 5 speed and Skyline RB20 5 speed. This gearstick has been modified as can be seen in the pictures. The original rubber bonded stick has been removed and I have reshaped the shifter to copy my original 240Z gearstick. I had a Rb20 5 speed in my zed and the original straight shifter , which came up through the transmission tunnel correctly would hit the front section of the centre console . The gears could not be selected correctly in the original straight shaft configuration with this gearbox. The SR20 5 speed is slightly longer so the straight shifter would probably work fine in this instance. If you have a Zed with an early RB gearbox this might be ideal for you. Alternatively if you have another vehicle with the Nissan 5 speed retrofitted this shifter might also be of use to you. Another alternative if you just want a cheap shifter to cut and modify yourself for your own problem solving then this may also be the product for you.
