Here you go...

This is why you gotta be careful buying used S30Z's tarted up with paint.

That car was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting it to be. I was waiting to see firewalls made of chicken wire and filler. Edited by PB260Z

I haven't seen the sandblasted photos yet. However the rust in the front vent tubes is a shocker. Also the patches on the lower strut towers are pretty dodgy.

I would be pretty hard broken, but then again I probably would have walked after inspecting it. I guess it depends what you pay for a car and what your expectations are...

After seeing a couple of Californian cars recently up close I've realised you can never judge these cars from their first impressions or appearances.

They really need to be repaired properly but so many have had half arsed previous repairs. In many cases it would be better if previous owners did nothing.

Wish I took a photo of a battery tray repair job I saw last week. You guys would fall off your chair, or maybe not. I'll ask if I can get a photo of it and will share here. Or perhaps start a new thread on the topic of dodgy repairs found on S30z's

It's my car hahah, but I'm actually quite lucky I didn't end up with a car this bad given my knowledge when I purchased my z, I've had both my fenders off and it's nothing like that!

But I suppose it all comes down to what the guy is after, if he didn't pay much for the car then it would have been expected.
