Recaro Pole Position S30 Mounts

I have been talking with Recaro distributors here in Australia and they all cannot help as apparently only Recaro Japan has the stock and they wont send it to Australia. Its all very weird to me, but someone, must be able to order these from here. I found resellers and sent few emails to Japan, but having some experience with Japanese sellers, I'm not holding my breath...Anyone here knows a Jap source that can assist?

 

Would like to order following 2 parts numbers for Recaro Pole Position seats.

 

Recaro Part Number is 81.091.1 + Part Number 81.091.2

 

This is for Nissan S30 Fairlady Z (1970-1974 Datsun 240Z)

Guys...Need some assistance here please..

 

So I have my Recaro Pole Position and the rails as described above. All good, BUT...Missing the side metal brackets which come separately..No one in Australia has any ideas, the so called Recaro specialists and "sales people" tell me to look up their web shop - right..

 

So I have Pole Position Seats + Base Frame with rails...I'm missing the 4 plates (Left and Right) to marry up with the seats (that's the easy part) AND the base frames as per attached part numbers for the S30 (the hard part)

 

Anyone with part numbers out there has used these before? - Any help MUCH Appreciated.....

When I bought my Pole positions I got them from racer industries with the side mounts.

I have some complete rails for my Recaro Specialist S's (that dont have side brackets) if thats any help. Maybe get the parts fabbed up locally?

Thanks a lot guys..I'll check the suggestions, don't want to fabricate stuff when they are available. The standard brackets may not marry up with the S30 recaro rails, but I'll give racerindustries a go.  Thanks again!

Have you thought about just buying some side mount bride rails? all side mount bolt locations are the same?? Can get them from RHDjapan.com and should bolt straight up?

I feel your pain.

I went through similar thing.

I bought some nice subtle looking recaros from s13, had a beatch of a time with sourcing anything to bolt in.

So i designed, and produced, a low profile mount which slots the recaros i have and any similar in as low and rearward as possible. Luckily the 1st prototype i made fitted perfectly, so i knocked up a whole bunch in stainless steel. Just need to fold the extras up. Attached Seatbelt mounts to follow on my own, but you can reuse the s30s std mounting if you desire, as the seat mounts are not designed as restraint anchors.

I have pics of seats bolted in, and with my 6'2" mate sitting in, he just fits in.

Im all good @ 5'9?

Edit: not going to fix the angle brkts you need, sorry. I was able to use the s13 rails.
