locklock Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Im building a extractor and down pipe for my stock L24 with triple carb solex 40phh. What would be the best diameter for extractor primary and collector and down pipe size? It would be equal length extractor. Would 1.5" primary and 2.25 collector be ideal? Should i go 6-1 or 6-2-1? locklock Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Shipping will cost alot for me. Customising one locally with stainless steel pipes will only cost almost the same. Quote
C.A.R. Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Which one should i go for? None of those - they are not well designed. For an L24: 1 1/2" size pipe with a primary length between 18" to 24" long. I'd recommend merge collector type of 6 into 2 into 1 to keep your mid-range torque up, rather than the 6 into 1 type design. Quote
