Lower Front Ball Joints

Looking on eBay I see both BJ85 and BJ146 ball joints advertised for 240z/260Z & other Datsuns.

Can anyone advise whether one or both is/are correct for late 240/early 260?

I can confirm BJ85 definitely fit a 260z. Just fitted them to mine. Ebay ball joints are way over priced my local auto shop got them for $20 each and the cheapest on ebay I have seen is $38+ postage

(I'm now thinking the BJ146 is for the 1600 & early 240, has smaller stud I think).

Or give Ashley a call at Moorabbin Auto Spares, he has 555 ball joints where are meant to be the best ones out there.

I can confirm, the BJ146 has a smaller stud. Unfortunately I have a brand new pair of 555 146's in my shed if anyone is interested.

I think it was SWM who got me on the right track and supplied the BJ85's. I'm pretty sure he said the same thing as you mentioned above, the BJ146's are to suit both early 1600's and 240z's.
