Tricky question, we have some very rubbery numbers from various books and literature but we don't know where those places got their numbers to verify how legitimate they were.

Also do you want to know how many?

A.) HS30's (240z's) were officially imported by Nissan?

B.) RS30's (260z's) were officially imported?

C.) GRS30's (260z 2+2's) were officially imported?

Or all the above?

The number I see quoted most often for A.) Is around 3000 but I'm not so sure. I estimate if that's true that only 10-20% of those cars still survive in various forms of repair.

Gav as you posted it seems that 2500/3000 to Australia about 1500/2000 to UK 2000 to rest of world

So thats 5000/7000 RHD export models does that seem right

How many home market

If the 2500-3000 figure is accurate, I would also say we got less than 400 early 240z's in total. Maybe closer to 300?

If the early girl bingo thread is anything to go by, I would hazard a guess that maybe 100 survive today in various states of repair. But perhaps that is even optimistic.

I found a page on the Zhome site http://www.zhome.com/Production Figures,

It has all the production figures for various countries, unfortunately it doesn't have the JDM cars listed

It says we got 319 of the first 500 HS30's

I cant copy the figures over for some reason maybe Gav can
