Hi Guys,

Anyone got a 240Z fuse box they don't want. It's going in a '73 and needs to be in good condition!

Thanks in advance.

I like the glass fuses for some reason. I think you have an idea where i'm taking my build Gav.  ;)

Thanks but my current one is in that condition. I was hoping that someone might have something lying around locally, but it seems that good nick Australian parts are few and far between these days.

Yeah 240z spares are getting harder to find because people are not parting out cars anymore. Anything is worth saving these days. You'd only wreck something that has been hit really hard and even then you might consider restoring it.

I think I might have a spare fuse box on my rough dashboard but you'd want to recondition it. It's a mess, but might be a good starting point if you had the patience to try and recondition it and re-solder / clean it up etc..?

The black fuse holder on mine has melted in a couple of places so if you have a parts one it might work fine. Maybe chuck up a couple of pics if you wouldnt mind? Mine isn't terrible it's just not perfect and it irks me even though you dont look at it.

Yeah I understand, I'll try and get some photos of it. I think it's still attached to the dashboard, but the clear plastic cover is gone from memory.

Try some electrical cleaning spray and an old toothbrush - Jaycar (for the spray  ;) )

You may be suprised at how easily it could clean up.

Nothing to lose
