aircobra Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 in the progress of rebuilding my calipers and have split them apart, but can't remove the pistons i just want to get them out to have a look at the condition of the bores to see if they're worth rebuilding does anyone know how to get them out? compressed air does not do the trick for me or maybe recommend a good place in south that can do it for me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

aircobra Posted April 15, 2015 Author Share Posted April 15, 2015 all sorted better brakes in breaside removed them for me, they have a hydraulic pump at the shop damage is 4x pistons @19 each, 2x seal kits @14 each and 2 bleed nipples all i need to work out if to sandblast the caliper or just degrease the rotors are 12mm and rusty, so I figure that if I get them skimmed, I loose .5 and I will be within .5 limit. i think 11mm is min thickness any sources for cheap rotors?
