How many rails hwould there be in a 240z?

Since my z has serious rust probs and has already had the floors swapped a couple of times, I just want to confirm something before I go and order the parts

Rails #1 - this starts at the bumper bar and run through to the firewall, supporting the engine

That's them

Rails # 2- these are sold with the floor kits here

they run to the end of the floor plan

Rails #3 - go from the ned of the pan and up to the rear suspension

Problem is I can't  see if #3 was even there?

No.3 - looks like some sort of add-on stiffener that wasn't there originally.

Correct # 3 aftermarket addition to increase chassis stiffness.

Sounds like you already have your answers! Lurchos has given you the steps to successfully begin your project, I'd go with that!

If you were considering buying from showcars, don't. He's shady at best and people that live within a few hours of him have trouble getting what they order. I can't imagine how difficult it would be getting something from him when you live half way around the world.
