Hi all, just to inform you I'm the new owner of Steven Davis's 73 240z RB-30. Booked a one way ticket to NSW handed over the $$$$ and drove it back, absolutely awesome. He's done a fantastic job in putting this car together, very knowledgeable and a top bloke to boot. In the process of getting a roady and transfer of reg.

The plan is to become a Viczcar member very, very soon and look forward to meeting you guy's.

Thanks for the reply guy's. I'm located in Melbourne. I know theres a drive on the 15th of Dec, can't make it, plus I want to get reg transfer organized before I do any longer trips (drive back from NSW excluded).

Congratulations on the purchase you have bought a fine car indeed. Had I not been in Ireland I would have probably tried to buy the car myself.

 

Believe it or not you're already a member . We don't have an official membership form or fee to pay you just join the forum. Although the way we have been growing perhaps we might be able to position ourselves as a fully fledged club someday or at least become affiliated with another to take advantage of CAMS & Club Rego.

 

That's another discussion for another time. I hope you enjoy the car and take good care of it. I look forward to seeing it when I get back home and would love to be taken for drive in it . *wink* *wink*

Yeh, damn it, though we probly wont see as many cars dying from rust, they dont seem to rust down there even though there is no difference in distance from the water.  Humidity maybe?

Sorry George, didn't mean to upset the apple cart. I could just imagine Sulio yelling arrrrriba, it's the little things when you are away from home.

 

If it's any consolation Nigels Yellow 240z was snatched and went to Queensland. Also I'm not sure who the new owner of Gavin strongman's 260z is now. Last I heard though I think it was heading to NSW.

 

I think in general though the most Z's were in Victoria followed by NSW then QLD. SA next and then WA. I could be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me.

 

Perhaps you guys could start organising some events in NSW? Sulio has really been the backbone of organising the day trips for the club, I've been the web guru. Some more passion in NSW and maybe some more owners will come out of the woodwork.

Rust...I'm just glad to live in a country where salt isn't poured all over the roads and big ugly bumpers aren't the norm.

 

Sydney has a higher annual rainfall than Melbourne, but only just. Also the humidity is different.
