Administrators gav240z Posted October 28, 2014 Administrators Posted October 28, 2014 Early valve covers are expensive. (Nissan 2400 OHC) http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u70510779 Quote
zeds4ever Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Consider me vague if you will, but if its the Datsun OHC rocker cover that fits 260Z/280ZX motors I will have one available within the next cple of days as soon as I receive the breather pipe that Scoota has kindly donated to me. Drop me a PM if required. Regards: Alan. Quote

zeds4ever Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Hmm something else I've learnt from this great site as well as using vowel's "LOL". Can you tell me what the Nissan rocker cover era originated from. Regards: Alan. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted October 30, 2014 Administrators Posted October 30, 2014 Can you tell me what the Nissan rocker cover era originated from. Do you mean the big NISSAN type covers? They came on 280zx's in Australia, maybe other models also. But it wasn't until much later in production. I think there was also a Nissan 2000 OHC cover for the L20's - which is even more rare to see! Actually truth be told Nissan made A LOT of different covers for the L-GATA motor. Perhaps we should start a thread documenting them all? Quote
G Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I believe they've started making copies of the rarer L4 covers out of China. No doubt, we'll start to see L6 ones coming through as well.. ...or you could get a Kakimoto... http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/04-00_engineparts/04-02_engineparts_l.html Quote
