Dingo Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Hi Guys I am selling off my 260 bus. I did some work on it a little while back and did rust repairs (which are shown on the forums here) But there is a couple of spots on the other side that still need some work. I want $500 for it and most of that is for the l26 that is there with flat top pistons. the car is pulled apart and comes that way. the car use to be a rally car and needs a new bonnet. call me on 0418682838 Quote

aline350 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Just wondering if you have any pictures of its current state? I live in Brisbane but would be keen for a road trip to get it. Quote
TheZFeel Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Hey Dingo just wondering if it comes with most parts to complete, excluding the bonnet as stated. As the previous post mentioned would it be possible to get some current photos of the car? Cheers Quote
Dingo Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Yeah it should all be there. I will take some pics tonight Quote
Impatient1 Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I would also be interested in the updated photos - I've been recently been bitten by the Z bug Cheers Quote
Scoota G Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 $500 for a Zed is not a price you will see a lot, from the pics I've seen it has a vented bonnet. I'm tempted to go get this myself. Quote

Scoota G Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 That doesn't really look like a bonnet that can be fixed, its pretty banged up and bent. Those vents can be grafted into another bonnet easy. Quote
Pegasus Zed Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Hey Dingo Went through the pics from the Links from the forum. The work done on it looks pretty damn good. Id like to have a look at some of the updated pictures if there are any. It too bad im in melbourne a bus even at that price is had to pass on. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted September 13, 2014 Administrators Posted September 13, 2014 That doesn't really look like a bonnet that can be fixed, its pretty banged up and bent. It could probably be fixed with enough time and effort, but unless you have the skills it would probably be easier to source another bonnet in better condition. The thing is a good bonnet is likely to cost as much as the car. I wouldn't worry about the vents though, personally I hate the later vented bonnets on S30z's, prefer the raw straight lines of a non-fluted hood myself. It accentuates the bonnet's length. Quote
Pegasus Zed Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 PM sent, will message/call tomorrow Quote
