  2. Hey Dingo Went through the pics from the Links from the forum. The work done on it looks pretty damn good. Id like to have a look at some of the updated pictures if there are any. It too bad im in melbourne a bus even at that price is had to pass on.
  3. Dat240z i was thinking that it would be a good combo and here in Victoria, it may even be easier to register as its an engine from the same family of cars.
  4. Hello everyone something that i have thought about randomly is if the engine from a 350z has been mounted in a calssic zed engine bay. Im sure it would fit as v8s seem to have no issue in finding their way into zed engine bays, i want to know if it has been done with a manual gearbox and a diff that would in some way balance it out weight wise?? Any ideas? regards Abhishek
  5. thanks! i did a google search just to see it on different cars. its gotta be the colour for me
  6. Hey Nizm0zed! Amazing build! learning heaps of things from the thread for when i build by Zed. One thing i have to ask you is the paint code for your car, that blue is what i have envisioned my Zed to wear, every time i see a picture of your car in that blue i get butterflies... its soooooooooo niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  7. Hey Stivva i took the chance this long weekend to read the thread. must say im very impressed! Gives me alot of ideas and information for my zed, when i eventually get one... once again great build.
  8. Id always had interest in the Z family. Although the 300zx was powerful it was sort of eclipsed when the 350z came out. Then i started to wonder on the history, because that sort of thing matter when you are building up or restoring a car. Alot of mates now want a 370z or G35s that run off the same chassis ( only because a GTR is out of their price range ), and so my natural response to that was what did the early cars look like , whats the story behind them. In saying that also, GTRs, EVOs, RX7s, NSX etc are all really jap muscle cars. REAL Jap muscle cars were made in the 70s
  9. Hello all My name is Abhishek. im 26 and I am a fellow Z lover. The thing that got me into Z cars was the history and lets face it the shape of Zcars are the best! Im hoping to restore a 240 or 260, so joining the Z car website/ forum seemed like the logical thing to do for support and parts. I hope to meet some of you and learn as much as I can about these beasts. Ive been tinkering in cars probably the last 8 -10 years. Having owned an R34 and now a S15 . Datsun/ Nissan make pretty damn good cars. But time now to get my hands on a classic to make my own. So im searching far and wide for something to get me started. Sooner rather than later ill have my S15 for sal to help with the funds!
  10. Lurch, do you still have the rolling shell? or has it been scrapped?
