Roll cages

Hey everyone

 

Am just pondering whether any of you are running with half cages? if so where did you get it & how much?

 

Just thinking about it at the moment cause i just realised how small the car is and how big some of the other things on the road are (o yeh and i plan on going on track days w/ club)

 

can anyone think why a 1/2 cage would be a problem for a daily driver? (as when it is FINALLY going, it will be one)

Costa has got an allloy half cage. Very neat. He got it made in alloy when it was still legal, ie according to CAMS. Go to the CAMS website for regulations and contacts that are accredited to make them. I think Costa paid $1800 for his, made by a bloke who makes them for people like John Bowe.

if you are after a second hand one I have an alloy cage to fit a 240z that I will probably be selling

 

Cams definatly doesnt allow new cars to run alloy cages anymore

I'm mainly after a half cage and was looking at getting it when get back from china & japan in January. So was thinking that i could get a list of some places. however, if you are in no hurry and it's a half cage..... (must be a half b/c it's going to be my daily)

I've seen the Cage in his 260z Targa car and it's of excellent quality + it looks really cool .
