You competing, Willy?

Possibly. It's a "gentle" event, and a few weeks later the Historic Club is putting on full race meeting which i will probably enter ( in the Dat2000).

I'll run the 280Z in the Teams Reg event, to get my eye in. Have'nt run there since last October.

I did a QR day the JapNats TimeAttack thing took out third O/R in Nat/Atmo class, circulated in 62/63's, only drama was getting turn 3 right! Historic Club also doing full race meeting at QR in October.

Carefull Jason

Making a statement like that ,looks as if you want to be a team coordinator. ZCCQ may be looking for someone to fill that job for this event and that could lead to job helping organise the Nissan Datsun Nationals at Easter next year.

What sort of schedule would the day have, ie how many track sessions? This might be the thing to give the zed club my $60 finally.

As said above, no requirement to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club, unless of course you are going to participate in events a CAMS affiliated club are running.

This is run solely by Qld Raceway at Lakeside. And just requires their one day license, which also doubles as their "club??" Membership, at $20

They are suggesting that each car will get 1x Qualifying/practice session, and 4 ( or more depending on stoppages) runs of Six ls per run.

As sual, you do end up getting more, sometimes too much, and often, some just sit out for a run pr two, to give themselves, and their car, a bit of a breather.

Aunrey, why would they want me, there are enuf ex-perts to run a team, or even multiple teams, for this event, as well as running the whole Dat-Nats shebang next year.

Unless,,,, they are not fully CAMS qualified or licensed to fill in the required roles, in regard to the, whatever they are, Sprints events over the X no of days.

The drags session has zip-all to do with CAMS, that makes it nice and easy!
