my new take on things and new projects nissan and ford

Some of you know that i have been having some rough times lately and still not over. hence reason being away from posting stuff.

 

but i em alive and still heavily involved with cars and projects. cant spill too many details at this stage as i know i have been watched.

 

Georges recent early girl purchase and post prompt me to write this. some of his comments regarding it just reminded of me and that there are more people like us out there. its not about money, or what your friends going to talk about you and your car. its about what you want.

 

since the nightmare i been going through i decided doing stuff i want. life is short enjoy doing what you love.

 

i sold all my previous cars but the 240z and my s14. got close to letting the 240z go but lucky i didn't.

 

currently busy with few projects not datsun or nissan. still old school.

 

will post progress on these cars soon in next few days in their own post.

 

currently working on 66 Mustang fastback that was reasonable driver now shell with driveline and going full redo that it deserves.  why? cause i want it perfect.

 

got fair bit of free time at the moment so going to spend few months doing what i love. its my working holiday.

 

got myself a workhorse ute to make pick ups and deliveries easier. but still classic. no not a 1200 or 720 ute but xc gs falcon ute. with original Cleveland between its shock towers.  mechanically perfect but body getting some rust removal treatment. not a resto just tidy up

 

on the nissan and z scene i couldn't resist on bargain and got my hands on Red 1990 z32 fairlady Z 2+0 (2 seater) twin turbo manual non targa. kinda rare spec car. this will be full resto job once 240zg is complete. no rust just bringing it back as if it was 1990 again.

 

so still in z game but looking at what i want not what ppl think.

 

The ford and v8 bug has bitten as well. Thumpy 302 and 351 clevos and screaming 289 Windsor's just gives me goose bumps and a stupid grin. feels awesome.

 

still turbos and efi do the same thing. the insane precision of the GTR or tail happy s14 or torque monster vg30dett in the z32.

 

they all have character and soul. and most importantly they make you smile.

 

do what makes you happy as you never know what life will bring next day.

 

stop dreaming but get of your butts and start working towards you dreams not anyone elses

If your other projects are to anything to go by, can't wait to see the Z32. Still miss the two I had previously! Specially the hardtop... pretty rare!
