... and some other bits available... ask for what you're after.

Not much else is good as the car is very stuffed and rusty. And I've taken front suspension and seat belts.

No idea what the engine or trans is like... may be good, may be stuffed. Hence low offers will be considered as I cant guarantee anything about the functionality of any parts. Extractors rusty but seem quite usable.

PM offers... no idea what the going rates are.

Will try to post pics in the coming few days.

Dan,

Are the turn signal units in good shape? I would be interested in buying them with the harness.

Thank,

Clive

Thanks for the interest guys.  Unfortunately the car is in really bad shape and lots of bits were missing or stuffed before I even got it.

To answer qns:

- Turns signals are missing sorry (all exterior lights are missing).  The wiring to the fronts should be all there (free if you want it) but the rear looks to have been cut)

- Glovebox inner seems to be ok - all yours for free (just cover postage if you need it)

- Most of the interior is either gone, stuffed or torn... doubt anything could be salvaged but feel free to come round and take a look (free if you find anything useful!)

Pics to follow to give everyone a better idea of how bad we're talking (and to avoid too much more disappointment!)

Cracker I just noticed you're in Adelaide - here's some pics.  I'll check it out in more detail on the weekend (to make sure it's ok) and try to work out how much the postage would be if you're still interested.

Rest of the dash is completely buggered.

Dan, are the harnesses that would plug to the light bulbs still there? Meaning the two bulb sockets and pigtail harness.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

Hey EvilZ, no problems... Ironically it's now taken me a couple of days to get back to you!  Been a pretty busy week sorry.

They are there from memory - give me a couple of days to get out there and check it out - see if they're in decent condition, etc.  Will get back to you.

Looks like there's only the car half of the globe harness there... which if I'm correct (?) is not the half you were chasing?

I had a look through the bit stuffed inside the car and despite finding some smashed lenses, I couldn't find the globe holders/pig tail loom... sorry.  Lots of bits were removed from this car before I got it and hence I have no idea what's come of them.

Larger bits still for sale!

Engine, extractors, trans, rear suspension, etc.  Make an offer!  TBH I'm not looking for much... just trying to make back what it cost me to cart this thing home!!

G'day Dan.

PM sent and also wondered what the spare wheel well was like?

Cheers,

Dave

Replied to your PM :)

Spare wheel well was terrible sorry... though it does provide a nice view of the road underneath :-P  (Massive rust holes)

Last week for anything attached to the shell still - after this week she goes to the great car cemetery in the sky!

Larger parts will still be available afterwards for a while until I find I need the space...

NO SHIPPING ON LARGE/HEAVY ITEMS SORRY!!! For the sake of making $50 it's not worth my while organising packaging, trying to find a way to weigh something like an engine, etc to get a freight quote, waiting at home for a courier to pick up, etc.  \

I'm happy to deliver within Melbourne however for $25, or $50 if the item requires a trailer.

Perhaps some prices might help spur people on - I know a lot of people feel uncomfortable making offers...

Engine as pictured:  $75 ONO

Extractors, rusty but usable: $75 ONO

Auto trans:  $40

Rear suspension (struts, arms, etc) $50

Very crappy seats (good only for the frames if you intended to recover them) $50

Suggested prices only - Willing to negotiate!!!

are all the suspension arms on the 260z the same as 240z? wouldn't mine buying them cheap, cleaning them up changing all the bushes etc and just take my old ones off and bolt refurbed ones.

Posted

Dan. Still got the glovebox inner? I forgot to remove it when taking bits off the car before you took it. Happy to pay.

Hi phillay - I think the arms are the same (someone else may want to help confirm?), the struts however are 55mm on diameter rather than 51mm as you'll have on the 240z, and the rear struts tops (the rubber block with the three mounting bolts sticking out) may be about 3/4" thicker (which will raise your car) though I'd have to pull them out of the car to know which ones it has before I can confirm.  I'll need the front control arms but am happy to sell the rears.  The rears will be taken out this weekend coming either way.

Hey Tai - I'd be more than happy to give it to you - unfortunately I sold the inner (and the glovebox door) a few weeks back.  Never thought it'd be a sought after item but it's always interesting to see what people are after and what they're not on S30s!

Anything else you need let me know - was supposed to take the last of the bits I needed off this past weekend and get it taken to scrap this week, but time got the better of me and I'll be hanging round for another week or so.

All good Dan. Thanks anyway. Yeah alot of people use the plastic 260z inner glovebox to upgrade the carboard one in a 240z.

As for the control arms, they are the same as the 240z

Sorry about the bump but... BUMP! ;-)

Engine, trans, extractors still available - make an offer... any offer!!!

Just wanna get rid of this stuff now to gain some room back in my small work area...  Surely someone has a use for a complete L26 block/head, or a set of extractors to free up a few more kW... or needs a spare trans to use as the basis of a rebuild or fancy boat anchor :-P

Don't worry about the previously suggested prices... providing it's not stupid and you don't make me work too hard (ie. no interstate shipping on an engine for example), then it wont be refused.

Would hate for this stuff to go to the tip when no doubt someday someone on here will need it...
