WTB - Bolt to connect disk to hub

Hi Guys,

 

I am looking for the bolt that secures the disk to the wheel hub.  It is an M10 25mm 1.25 pitch high tensile bolt, and it seems that Bunnings and Supercheap have nothing that fits the bill.  If someone has a spare disk or wheel hub, i would appreciate the bolt behind it.

hey mate have you tried autobarn, they usually have a good stock of high tensile bolts but a bit pricey

Go to a proffesional Nut/Bolt supply shop.

The guys behind the counter will understand your needs, and supply the correct ones

Bunnings won't be able to help. Agree go to a professional fastener supplier, and if possible take a sample (maybe form the other side)

Doubt if any bolt place would have a bolt like that; they have a large shoulder and are very unique. I get the occasional punter come in looking for an automotive bolt and I just tell them straight away..either wreckers or dealership. Don't waste your time. I think I may have a few spare...are you just after one?

I went to a fittings shop at lunch and they had nothing to suit.  I would have to go to Springwood to hunt around in depth.

 

Zedman, yes I am just after the one.  1600dave has offered to send one so I have sent him a PM.  If it doesn't work out I will let you know.

Dug one out of the shed. Are you in a hurry (express post) or not (ordinary mail) ?

 

As Dimitri rightly points out, they have an approx 6mm shoulder under the head, not just an area of no thread, but a slightly thicker section of shank.

 

EDIT: I'll just express post it, would probably only be a matter of cents cheaper for normal mail.
