Hi guys,

Happy new year,

I am embarking on a 260z 2+2 restoration project which will require a bit of rust repair. And I am hoping to get in contact with someone Aus based that can either build or provide the necessary rust repair panels.

I have so far found a place in the US (the Z Store), but am hoping to find the panels locally as I fear the freight alone will out weigh the cost of the panels. Also am struggling to find a reproduction Sille Panel for the 2+2.

If anyone out there can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

G'day.

there is a bloke who advertises on eBay.  I think he is South Australian.  He supplys replacement floors, the rear slam panel, lower front guard patches and sills.  he doesn't have anything up at the moment - probably as he might have gone away for the summer break, but I don't know of any reason he wont be back and advertising soon.

I have bought from him and have always been very happy with the speed of his service/delivery.  I'm sorry I can't find his link or store name at the moment.

Rare Spares are the only local company that supply 240Z floors, 2 seater rear slam panel, lower front guard patches and sills.

The rest are either supplied by Z Store/MSA or TABCO.

You won't find Sill pressings for your 2+2 - you will have to buy 3 standard length one's & extend them to suit.

I can build panels as necessary, but I'd want the Zed in front of me to measure off. It's also more costly this way...

Is Nato the bloke in South Australia who sells the bits on eBay?

Thanks guys for the advise.

Here's hoping the guy in SA is back soon in eBay.

Friends of mine mentioned it might have been Peter Hall, which would explain

Why there no listing anymore on eBay.

Looks like the z store might be the way to go, fingers crossed.

The ebay seller: $tack whom sells those rust repair sections is now back on ebay. I purchased my floors from them and i believe its a rare spares item that they resell.
