Thanks but this wasn't a topic about what business I can buy them from, it's a wanted ad in a classified section of a forum for Z owners, on the off chance that someone had some second hand or unused shocks laying around

Reviving this old thread as I am chasing an answer also for front shocks on a 2+2.
The KYB 361002 states that it fits the S30 but does not fit the 2+2.

Has anyone fitted these to a 2+2?
Is there a Bilstein shock option for the 2+2 front?

From my experience a 240Z front strut insert will only fit an early '74 260Z front strut, it will be too tall for the remaining 260Z front struts which are shorter and fatter in dia.

Do you need front inserts? If the wet-leg seals aren't leaking then a change of fresh oil might be all the front struts need.

After a lot of misinformation from suspension shops on what fits and what doesn't I went back to contacting others who have these aftermarket shocks fitted on the rear of 260Z 2+2 plus what I have.
Thanks Simestime and Gilltech.

These definitely fit the REARs on 2+2 as they are longer than standard 260Z rears. The Munroe Wylie's and Bilsteins I have are 470 mm long.

KYB- 361003        (also listed under an older number KC4504  TJ26)  - still available as Excel G

Munroe Wylie-   CA21JA1A    Patent#73959-   NLA to best of my knowledge

KONI (reds)       82R-1918   or 86-1918                            NLA to best of my knowledge- rebuildable provided chrome shaft is good (KONI dropped the "R" in the part number @ 1982)

Bilstein              3110066H002                         NLA to best of my knowledge- rebuildable provided chrome shaft is good

Good luck if you can find shocks other than the KYB's .
If you have other information on 2+2 front and rears to add to these post please do so.

Fronts.(260Z)
Vb to Vk Commodore struts
KYB

Tokico HP- HZ3012  , Illumina series, BZ 3012
