OK so lets start again...I put some basic prices up for a base to work off I might be dreaming but here goes. 1. hilux non vented for stock disk worked OK in 98!! $50 2.stock 260z calipers new pads above replaced these $50? 3.recoed vented hilux with machined pug disk all new with pads fitted my 74 and cleared did I mention new? $200 4.r31 rear calipers recoed new pads and old disks brackets might be there $100 4.nissan rocker cover raw $25 5.nissan rocker cover red $25 6.nissan turbo rocker cover 10.wiring specialties kit for rb25 used $100 11.2+2 rear windows with rubber seal $50 12.2+2 cowl and dash metal trim surface rusted $20 S13. The reason I'm getting rid of my zs 14.speedhut gauges freaking nice!! Gps speedo indicator and high beam lights in speedo and tacho etc get a pic of those but trust me there sweeeet $600 15.Roller 74 has f54 block not head 5 speed might be suspended spare r200 should be OK needs rewire finished needs some rust repairs like they all do! dash is bare no brakes good tail lights something good could come of it $more than nothing it was my first car I've had it for 20 years but it's not going to happen now so let's deal!! They the ones for stock disks I also have the huge ones for vented and a stock set but I should have said I'm in Southeast qld and don't really want to post things sorry if that's a pain for anyone but pick up only at this stage.

Lots of bits for sale best to ask or look but it's all got to go including the blue roller in my profile it's not all there anymore but has a lot less rust than some so it's worth a look for someone! I'm not after millions but it's worth something so hit us up!

L28et with 300hp at the tyres is heaps of fun trust me! But ide just stick the rb in way cheaper and easy i still have to get my rb swap done in the other car (its only been a year dont rush me man haha) so i cant compare driveability yet but im sure it will be "nicer" i really want a rb26 but want and need.....

I have my 74 bus gauges somewhere in the z cave the speedo is missing the shroud but ill try and dig them out for a look

Man my first engine was a flat top f54 p90 and twin carby it went hard then stocko zx n42/54 went well now I got a l28et in the second z I can say you wouldent think it was the same engine god damn do they go Haha makes the stocks rb25det that I wanted for the first z seem like silly talk

Oops now this is going to be a distraction! This car is almost how i wanted mine 10-15 years ago It had a few things not working properly eg indicators wipers and fan but 15 Min's later all fixed pays to have had a z for a hella long time eh? now a bit off a rust fix up and we get to play Zs again the blue one can wait its been this long now!

that book would have been handy way back when! i just basicly fluked mine in because the wireing diagrams sucked that i got that wire that goes to the coil is near the plug for the ecu i think well i had that to a switch for power then theres like 1 more to the ignition switch and the earth the rest is for the motor i dident have to do the guages stuff it ran with out it but it was easy too i remember when the wrecker told me as i was a youngen that i would stuggle with all those wires i couldent afford the motor and box at the same time so i took the motor first and came back a few weeks later to get the box hes like how are ya going with the conversion i said how ya think i got here go look out the front haha make sure you do that to the sparky when you get her going! as for being not worth it thats crap it was great not having to reset the carbys ever again or points it was down on power but still went good enuff i only got greedy and wanted to turbo it thats where i stuffed it up trying to get ems dialed into the dizzy and the intake manifold was leaking like a sieve i can tell you the rb harness is 20 times harder to figure out jet tronics is basicly lego in comparsion

Ok i got the front tyres fitted to the 16x7 +15's and well...... They fit sorta! haha it cleared the strut where i thort ide have a prob and they get into the chassis at full lock but i think i may have a win soon anybody ever had to limit the rack on these things? maybe the shorter stroke on a power rack will solve 2 probs meh? anyway pics or it dident happen.... then i got arty... mmm grey lookn then i tryed to get the gauges again still not clear and finnaly this has to come out soon anybody want to buy a l28 that dont go but could the ride hight is at 7" mostly cos i just droped it off jacks but ide like it at least 2" lower anyway back to work

speedhut and the price varys depends on the options I got the gps speedo with fuel guage built in to free up the smaller holes for the others and the datsun 260z writing was nice I thort best thing is the super easy wireing and can be made to work nearly any signal as is there great

hey thanks for going to the trouble for me again re the brake issue stuff and now this so yes i have 16x8 0s and 225 50s i have put on the front many times and i have kmac camber plates i have no problem getting the top in the camber only starts going negitive when the lca up goes past horizontal btw the real issue is the little thing called QLD DOT little book of horrors says.... The rims and tyres must not protrude beyond the bodywork of the vehicle, including flares, when viewed from above with the wheels facing straight ahead...... and The tyre to rim fitting and the tyre to rim combination must be in accordance with the Tyre and Rim Standards Manual published by the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia....now if the proper version of the code of practice is intereperted the way half the hellaflush boys would like it to be then were ok the measuring rim info i have for an 8" rim is 225 min and i dont really belive the bottom of the wheel is allowed to be past the guard when viewed from strait down either also the 225 50 and 205 55 is the only tyre inside 1% difference in rolling diameter like you said personal taste but much more than that and there not legal either heres a crappy pic i took a while ago at no way its going to happen low... and lastly it not my worrys i got to think about its the engineers etc with help we will prevail eventually eh
