  1. Hi All Need a 1970 Steering wheel if anyone has one buried in the garage, condition unimportant. Cheers
  2. I bought #63 from J-P, it will be completely restored to original condition, as is befitting such an old girl, this is the third series one I have owned, and restored the last one to a pretty good and mostly original state. I am already sourcing parts, but in reality, it will be a while before I start, I have another car purchase going on at the moment, so need all my money for that, plus an old 1948 GMC pickup I want to start first, also need to sell a couple of things, so if anyone is in the market for a 2007 Brera, 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo or a 1995 300zx, Manual (25th Anniversary Millen Edition, 1 of 40 Australian delivered cars) drop me a line. I'm based in Perth Cheers
  3. Like anything, condition is key, even for 280zx, Z31 & Z32's, there will be those out there for which a 280zx is their favourite car (not many in comparison, but some) I have seen mint 280zx's (although few and far between) attract good prices (for a 280zx ) I also have a 300zx, but a 25th Anniversary Edition, this is a low K excellent condition, 100% original car, I have seen these advertised for high teens to early twenties, and seem to sell for close what is being asked for, condition, rarity & originality are key to good prices, regardless of what it is. (yes, even 280zx's, even ugly babies are loved by the mothers!) Lee
  4. An Esprit Turbo, 1988, (Stevens design) Mint S1's attracting decent prices in the UK now!
  5. Don't worry, it's in a locked, heated garage and won't even start it's journey here until the UK winter is well and truly over! I imported a Lotus Esprit a while back, it sat at the docks in the under snow for a few weeks, it didn't like that at all, so won't be doing the same with the Z! (Although the Z wouldn't react like the Lotus I'm sure)
  6. Thanks Gav Was here quite a few years ago (although hardly a regular contributer then) but have been checking in regularly for the several years I have been without a Z, just to keep up with what is happening and which cars are about for sale.
  7. Yes, this car is reputed to be the 13th car Spike did, all the original invoices from Samuri conversions are still with the car, the last dyno for the car (just after restoration) showed 195 bhp at the rear wheel, so still pretty quick given that the last engine work was done in the late 80's.
  8. Having sold my 1970 zeds (#117 & #306) years ago (and having purchased several other classic cars) I decided to go back to my favourite car, the 240Z, so I set my sights on several different incarnations, including a specific modified car, a Super Samuri. You hardly ever see these on the open market (unless at auctions) and this car was no different, I managed to aquire the car through a contact who knew the owner was thinking of selling. The car was subject to a recent and superb restoration by a marque specialist, I have uploaded a couple of pictures for you to look at, and will add more over the weekend, the car is being kept in the UK until I fly over for a holiday early in the new year, when it will be shipped back to OZ. Regards Lee
  9. Dressed as a Z432-R (Black Bonnet) badges missing, described as a 1975 280zx but has a 1970 240z badge, money is about right for a car in below average to average condition I would think going by prices in Japan, on current exchange rate AUD $73,500 which would support it being genuine. I am trying to contact a friend of mine so she can translate for me. As you have said, really need picture of the engine.
  10. Hi Mate Can you tell me if it is a matching numbers car, could you advise how long you have had it and what is missing, some more photo's would also be great, please also advise where you are based. Cheers Lee
